Lieutenant General Copinger-Symes talks about his role in the Coronation of King Charles III


Lieutenant General Tom Copinger-Symes CBE, Deputy Commander of Strategic Command, has spoken of the immense honour of attending the Coronation of HM King Charles III on 6 May 23.

At the historic occasion he will also be representing The Rifles, in his capacity as Colonel Commandant of the famous infantry regiment.

The Deputy Commander’s appointment as Colonel Commandant of The Rifles involves engaging with serving and veteran Riflemen, Cadets, service families, and the communities from which soldiers are recruited.

The Coronation of HM King Charles III, taking place in London, will also involve General Sir Jim Hockenhull KBE, ADC Gen, Commander of Strategic Command, and soldiers from the Royal Gibraltar Regiment.
