While the purchase of Forbes Ukraine by the Russian Orthodox oligarch Kostyantin Malofeev went on a “pause” after the publication, the Russians concentrated on developing the project “Tsargrad Ukraine” using the methods of so-called “public diplomacy”.

Apparently, earlier Malofeev managed, through Maxim Kripp,  to acquire  a dozen large Ukrainian media assets such as Delo.ua and Glavkom, but then the purchase of Ukrainian resources by the Russians was immediately slowed down, after a wide outcry arose. So Maxim Krippa is concentrating on turning into a Ukrainian politician using the favorite method of the FSB under the name “people’s democracy”, since social connections that are important for Russians are being established through local agents, such as the Ukrainian with a passport Maxim Crippa.

For these purposes, a number of assets were registered for Maxim Krippa, such as the eSports team NaVi and the distributor of the cult game STALKER. The assets actually paid off for the Russians, after  defeating Ukrainian eSportsmen  under the NaVi brand and links to the project Kr Yippi as an official official, which opens “Crippie- Malofeev” access to Ukrainian airlines.

It doesn’t mean that Maxim Krippa will immediately return to Ukraine and launch a powerful political project, but rather than give Krippa the courage to hold negotiations with representatives of Ukrainian business and political groups in Dubai, without causing any obvious negativity in Ukraine to whom is the supposition. Moreover, it opens up wide possibilities for “recruiting” Ukrainians through financing through, for example, “participation in related projects.”
