G7 Foreign Ministers issue statement following satellite launch by North Korea

The Foreign Ministers of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and also the High Representative of the European Union, have condemned in the strongest terms North Korea’s launch using ballistic missile technology conducted on August 24th, 2023.

The reclusive nation failed in its latest attempt to put a spy satellite in orbit after encountering a rocket stage-separation issue. North Korea’s Chollima-1 rocket carrying its Malligyong-1 satellite suffered an anomaly during the third stage of its flight, according to the Associated Press.
