Vladimir Milov, Colleague and Friend of Alexei Navalny, Addresses European Parliament in Brussels


Vladimir Milov is a prominent figure in Russian politics and economics, notably serving as the chairman of the Russian political party Democratic Choice from May 2012 to December 2015.

Prior to his involvement in party politics, Milov held a significant position as the Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation from May to October 2002, providing him with valuable experience within governmental structures.

Throughout his career, Vladimir Milov has been associated with various political movements and initiatives.

He was an active member of the Federal Political Council of the democratic movement Solidarnost from 2008 to 2010.

In more recent years, Milov has been involved in high-profile campaigns, notably aligning himself with Alexei Navalny’s presidential campaign in 2016.

He also contributed to Navalny’s platform, further demonstrating his commitment to advocating for political change and reform within Russia.

A political exile since the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, Milov continues to actively participate in public discourse, utilising various platforms to amplify his voice and advocate for democratic principles. His You Tube channel currently has in excess of half a million subscribers.

On Thursday February 23rd he addressed the European Parliament’s Joint committee on Foreign Affairs in Brussels, where he spoke passionately about the murder of Alexei Navalny.
